What is happening?

Transport Scotland 

THE A82 TRUNK ROAD (FALLS OF FALLOCH) (CLEARWAY) ORDER 202[] 

THE SCOTTISH MINISTERS hereby give notice that they propose to make the above Order under section 1(1)(a) and (c), 2(1) and 2(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984(a) which will have the effect of imposing a clearway on that length of the A82 Dalnottar - Inverness Trunk Road at Falls of Falloch from a point 1.59 kilometres south of the entrance to the Falls of Falloch car park to a point 1.7 kilometres north of the entrance to the Falls of Falloch car park, a distance of 3.29 kilometres or thereby. 

Full details of the proposal are contained in the Order which, together with a plan showing the length of road involved and a statement of the Scottish Ministers’ reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be examined free of charge during normal business hours from 15th August 2025 to 5th September 2025 at the offices of Transport Scotland, Fifth Floor, 177 Bothwell Street, Glasgow, G2 7ER and Crianlarich Post Office, Station Road, Crianlarich, FK20 8QN.

Any person wishing to object to the proposed Order should send details of the grounds for objection in writing to the Director of Roads, c/o Margarita Michael, Transport Scotland, Fifth Floor, 177 Bothwell Street, Glasgow, G2 7ER or via email to TRO-Objections@transport.gov.scot quoting reference NW/A82/MM by 5th September 2025.

THE SCOTTISH MINISTERS hereby give notice that they propose to make the above Order under section 1(1)(a) and (c), 2(1) and 2(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984(a) which will have the effect of imposing a clearway on that length of A84/A85 Stirling to Crianlarich Trunk Road (Loch Lubnaig) from a point 3.04 kilometres or thereby north of its junction with the A821 (the Dukes Pass) at Kilmahog, to a point 1.64 kilometres or thereby north of the access to the car park at the property known as The Cabin at Loch Lubnaig, a distance of 4.14 kilometres or thereby.
