What is happening?

THE HAMPSHIRE (BOROUGH OF EASTLEIGH)

(BISHOPSTOKE, FAIR OAK AND HORTON HEATH) CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2021 (VARIATION NO.6) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council made the above-mentioned Order on 6th August 2025, in exercise of its powers and duties under Sections1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 122(1) and 122(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”), Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Act, and of all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act and having discharged its duty under section 122 of the Act.

GENERAL NATURE AND EFFECTS OF THE ORDER: Will be to impose no waiting at any time restrictions as described below

This order will amend The Borough of Eastleigh (Bishopstoke, Fair Oak and Horton Heath) Consolidation Order 2021 correcting an anomaly regarding Pavillion Close.

DATE OF OPERATION: The order will come into force on Tuesday 19th August 2025.

(ii) Eastleigh Borough Council, Eastleigh House, Upper Market Street, Eastleigh, SO50 9YN

(Opening hours: Mondays – Friday: 08.30 – 17.00)

(iii) Hampshire County Council Headquarters, The Castle, Winchester, SO23 8UJ

(Opening hours: Mondays to Thursdays 8.30 – 5.15; Fridays 8.30 – 4.45)

(iv) Copies of the order as made, plan and statement of reasons can also be obtained by e-mailing public.notices@hants.gov.uk or by writing to Traffic Orders Team, Safer Roads and Parking, Universal Services Department, Hampshire County Council, The Castle, Winchester SO23 8UD quoting reference: CM/A2088

APPLICATION TO THE HIGH COURT: Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Act, or that any of the relevant requirements of the Act or of any relevant instrument made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, by 26th September 2025 make application for the purpose to the High
