TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDERS
Derby City Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit use of the roads by traffic.

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON PEAR TREE STREET, DERBY
WHEN: 18 August 2025 to 22 August 2025 WHERE: Pear Tree Street, from its junction with Princes Street REASON: Drainage works ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Pear Tree Street – Portland Street – Harrington Street – Princes Street and the same in the opposite direction

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON MOOR END, DERBY
WHEN: 18 August 2025 to 25 August 2025 WHERE: Moor End, from its junction with Stewart Close to outside number 22 – a distance of approximately 20 metres REASON: Drainage works ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Moor End – Sancroft Road – Dale Road – Moor End and the same in the opposite direction

WHEN: 08 September 2025 to 13 September 2025 WHERE: Radbourne Lane, from a point adjacent to Embankment Close to a point approximately 70 metres south of its junction with Aldersgate – a distance of approximately 260 metres REASON: Construction works ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Radbourne Lane – Ashbourne Road – Moor Lane – Radbourne Lane and the same in the opposite direction

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON SPRINGWOOD DRIVE, DERBY
WHEN: 17 September 2025 WHERE: Springwood Drive, at its junction with Charingworth Road REASON: Drainage works 
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Springwood Drive – Bishops Drive and the same in the opposite direction

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON GISBORNE CRESCENT, DERBY
WHEN: 15 September 2025 to 18 September 2025 WHERE: Gisborne Crescent, from the boundary of numbers 29 and 31 to the boundary of numbers 21 and 23 – a distance of approximately 70 metres REASON: Drainage works ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Gisborne Crescent – Duffield Road and the same in the opposite direction

TEMPORARY RIGHT TURN LANE CLOSURE ORDER ON KEDLESTON ROAD, DERBY
WHEN: 01 September 2025 to 19 December 2025 WHERE: Kedleston Road, at the Five Lamps Junction: Phase 1 to 3: Right turn from Garden Street – 01/09/2025 to 19/12/2025 Phase 1: Outbound Lane – 01/09/2025 to 05/10/2025 Phase 2: Inbound Lane – 06/10/2025 to 07/12/2025 Phase 3: Right turn from Garden Street – 08/12/2025 to 19/12/2025 REASON: Construction works ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Phase 1: Duffield Road – Broadway – Kedleston Road Phase 2: Kedleston Road – Broadway – Duffield Road Phase 3: Duffield Road – Broadway – Kedleston Road

TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE ORDER ON KEDLESTON ROAD, DERBY
WHEN: 01 September 2025 to 19 December 2025 WHERE: Kedleston Road and Duffield Road, at their junctions with Five Lamps, including splitter islands and pedestrian crossings REASON: Construction works ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: As directed by the temporary signage on site

Derby City Council (Allenton EV Charging) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting) (Amendment to Map Based Schedule) (No.156) Order 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Derby City Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 9, 32, 35, 45, 46, 47, 49, 53 and part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and under the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers in that behalf.

The purpose of the order is to introduce the following restrictions: Car Club Permit Holders Only (No Exemption For Disabled Badge Holders)

• Osmaston Road, Allenton District Centre car park, on the first bay of four parking bays outside 860-868 (Pound Stretcher) from the North end of the carpark.

Electric Vehicle Charging Only
• Osmaston Road, Allenton District Centre car park, on the remaining three parking bays outside 860-868 (Pound Stretcher – Green Loake Shoemaker) North – South end of carpark.

Revocation of the following
• Limited Waiting (2 Hours No Return 1 Hour) (Mon-Sat 8am-6pm) (Permit Holder Exemption) four parking bays outside 860-868 (Pound Stretcher – Green Loake Shoemaker) Osmaston Road. 

A copy of the proposed Order together with maps which show the definitive extents of the proposal, a copy of the Authority’s Statement of Reasons for proposing the Order and the Order being amended, may be inspected online at https://www.derby.gov.uk/tro

Objections to the proposal stating your grounds of objection should be sent, in writing, to Traffic & Transportation, Communities and Place, Derby City Council, The Council House, Corporation Street, Derby, DE1 2FS or by email to traffic.management@derby.gov.uk to be received no later than 5th day of September 2025.
