Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
TUNBRIDGE WELLS
B2169 Bayham Road, Hawkenbury, TN2 5HW (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow gas main works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2169 Bayham Road, Hawkenbury, on or after 25th August 2025 for up to 61 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of property number 5. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2169 Bayham Road, Forest Road, A267 Frant Road, B2169 Bayham Road and vice versa.
Alders Road & Sychem Lane, Capel, TN12 6WB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow tree cutting works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Alders Road & Sychem Lane, Capel, on or after 26th August 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
Alders Road will be closed in the vicinity of property named Chimneys, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
Sychem Lane will be closed in the vicinity of the junction with Alders Road, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any Alders Road through traffic is via Alders Road, A228 Colts Road, A228 Maidstone Road Roundabout, B2017 Badsell Road, B2017 Five Oak Green Road, Alders Road and vice versa.
The alternative route for any Sychem Lane through traffic is via Sychem Lane, B2017 Five Oak Green Road, Alders Road and vice versa.
Barden Road, Speldhurst, TN3 0LE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow water asset repair works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Barden Road, Speldhurst, on or after 8th September 2025 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of property named Furzewood. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Barden Road, B2176 Penshurst Road, Poundsbridge Lane, Poundsbridge, Penshurst Road, Northfields, Barden Road and vice versa.
Bodiam Road, Sandhurst, TN18 5LS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow drainage works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Bodiam Road, Sandhurst, on or after 25th August 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of Old Priests House. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Bodiam Road, A268 Rye Road, A28 Station Road, Thyssel Lane, Ewhurst Lane, Village Street, Shoreham Lane, Rock Hill, Bodiam Road, B2165 Cripps Corner Road, B2244 Junction Road, Castle Road, Peters Green Road, Bodiam Road and vice versa.
Dig Dog Lane, Frittenden, TN27 8LS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow telegraph pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Dig Dog Lane, Frittenden, on or after 11th September 2025 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from approximately 170 metres west of Three Chimneys Public House. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Dig Dog Lane, Cranbrook Road, Frittenden Road, Common Road, A262 The Street, A262 Biddenden Road, A262 Sissinghurst Road, Hareplain Road, Dig Dog Lane and vice versa.
Dingleden Farm Road, Iden Green (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow telegraph pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Dingleden Farm Road, Iden Green, on or after 11th September 2025 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of Little Dingleden, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
There is no alternative route for any through traffic. Access will be maintained when it is safe to do so.
Etherington Hill, Southborough, TN3 0TH (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow drainage works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Etherington Hill, Southborough, on or after 8th September 2025 for up to 12 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of North Lodge. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Etherington Hill, Stockland Green Road, Bentham Hill, Victoria Road, Constitutional Hill Road, Kibbles Lane, Speldhurst Road and vice versa.
Harmony Street, Rusthall, TN4 8NU (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow water pipe repair works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Harmony Street, Rusthall, on or after 26th August 2025 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of property number 2. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Grange Road, Bretland Road, Rusthall Road, Harmony Street and vice versa.
Oak Road, Royal Tunbridge Wells, TN2 3AL (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow water asset repair works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Oak Road, Royal Tunbridge Wells, on or after 27th August 2025 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of property number 1. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Oak Road, Sandhurst Road, Clifton Road, Brook Road, Oak Road and vice versa.
Park Road, Southborough, TN4 0PG (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow drainage repair works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Park Road, Southborough, on or after 8th September 2025 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of the junction with A26 London Road. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Park Road, A26 London Road, Pennington Road, Park Road and vice versa.
Redwings Lane, Pembury, TN2 4AR (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow drainage repair works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Redwings Lane, Pembury, on or after 11th September 2025 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of the junction with Amhurst Bank Road. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Redwings Lane, Old Church Road, A228 Pembury Northern Bypass, A228 Maidstone Road, Redwings Lane and vice versa.
Tibbs Court Lane, Brenchley, TN12 7AH (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow cabling works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Tibbs Court Lane, Brenchley, on or after 9th September 2025 for up to 7 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of Holly Cottage. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Tibbs Court Lane, Hatmill Lane, Fairmans Lane, Kite Lane and vice versa.
Upper Grosvenor Road & Park Road, Royal Tunbridge Wells, TN4 9NJ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow gas main replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on parts of Upper Grosvenor Road and Park Road, Royal Tunbridge Wells, on or after 25th August 2025 for up to 91 days or until the works have been completed.
Upper Grosvenor Road will be closed from the junction with Grosvenor Bridge to the junction with Meadow Road. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any Southbound through traffic is via Upper Grosvenor Road, North Farm Road, High Brooms Road, Yew Tree Road, A26 St Johns Road, Grosvenor Road and Upper Grosvenor Road.
The alternative route for any Northbound through traffic is via Upper Grosvenor Road, Meadow Road, Goods Station Road, Grosvenor Road, A26 St Johns Road, Yew Tree Road, Highfield Road, High Brooms Road, North Farm Road and Upper Grosvenor Road.
Park Road will be closed in the vicinity of the junction with Upper Grosvenor Road. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any Southbound through traffic is via Woodbury Park Road, A26 St Johns Road and Upper Grosvenor Road.
The alternative route for any Northbound through traffic is via Woodbury Park Road and Dunstan Road.
Woodcock Lane, Iden Green, TN17 4HT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow telegraph pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Woodcock Lane, Iden Green, on or after 28th August 2025 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of property number 1. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Woodcock Lane, Dingleden, B2086 Rolvenden Road, B2086 The Street, Iden Green Road, Standen Street and vice versa.
