What is happening?

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
(C2160 Western Road, Hagley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of C2160 Western Rd from its junction with A491 Stourbridge Rd to its junction with U20415 Newfield Rd.
Reason: Gas main replacement by Cadent.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: Anticlockwise Diversion – C2160 Western Rd (part), U20420 South Rd, U20415 Newfield Rd, A456 Worcester Rd, A456 Kidderminster Rd, A491 Stourbridge Rd, C2160 Western Rd (part).
Clockwise Diversion – C2160 Western Rd (part), A491 Stourbridge Rd, A456 Kidderminster Rd, C2160 Western Rd (part).
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 15 days (24hrs). Commencing: 8 September 2025.
