What is happening?

NOTICE OF ORDER HAVING BEEN MADE THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH (TRAFFIC MOVEMENT AND SPEED LIMIT REGULATIONS) (AMENDMENT ORDER No. 2025.2137345 MELROSE AVENUE) EXPERIMENTAL ORDER 2025 

The Council of the City of Plymouth in exercise of their powers under the relevant Sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) ("the Act"), and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, have made the above named Experimental Order:- 

The effect of the order shall be to: 

1. Revoke the no entry on lengths of: Melrose Avenue
Plymouth City Council will consider in due course whether the provisions of the experimental order should be continued in force indefinitely. 

Full details are contained in the Order, which, together with the relevant plans, any Orders amended, and a statement of reasons for making the Order may be examined on Plymouth City Council website: www.plymouth.gov.uk/traffic-and-road-safety-schemes

Objections to the Experimental Order should be made in writing, stating the grounds on which they are made, within a period of 6 months beginning on the day on which the Experimental Order came into force or within a period of 6 months beginning on the day that a variation or modification to the Experimental Order subsequently comes into force.
