(SOUTH ROAD, YSTÂD DDIWYDIA NNOL PEN-Y-BONT AR OGWR, PEN-Y-BONT AR OGWR) CYNGOR BWRDEISTREF SIROL PEN-Y-BONT AR OGWR 2025 RHODDIR HYSBYSIAD DRWY HYN fod y Cyngor fel yr Awdurdod Priffyrdd ar gyfer Pen-y-bont ar Ogwr, wrth arfer ei bwerau dan Adran 14(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd), yn bwriadu creu Gorchymyn, a hynny heb fod yn llai na 7 diwrnod o ddyddiad yr Hysbysiad hwn, a fydd yn cyflwyno dros dro y cyfyngiadau a nodir yn yr atodlen isod.Mae’r Gorchymyn er budd diogelwch y cyhoedd am nad yw’r lôn gerbydau yn ddigon llydan i gynnal mynediad i gerbydau yn ystod gwaith gosod arwyneb newydd.Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar 28/08/2025 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am uchafswm o 18 mis neu nes y bydd y gwaith wedi’i gwblhau, p’un bynnag sydd gynharaf.Rhagwelir y bydd y gwaith arfaethedig yn cael ei wneud rhwng 19:00 a 06:00 o 28/08/2025 i 01/09/2025.
Atodlen-Ni chaiff unrhyw berson beri i unrhyw gerbyd fynd ar hyd South Road, Ystâd Ddiwydiannol Pen-y-bont ar Ogwr, Pen-y-bont ar Ogwr, o’r gyffordd â ffordd fynediad Toby Carvery i bwynt oddeutu 115 metr i’r dwyrain o’r gyffordd â Queen Street, am oddeutu 695 metr.Y llwybr amgen ar gyfer cerbydau yw ar hyd Llwybr Amgen 1: Drwy South Road, Western Avenue, York Road a South Road. Llwybr Amgen 2: Trwy South Road, York Road, The Kingsway, Western Avenue, South Road.Bydd mynediad trwy ardal y cyfyngiad i’r Heddlu a’r Gwasanaethau Tân ac Ambiwlans wrth ymateb i argyfyngau. Cynhelir mynediad i gerddwyr i bob eiddo o fewn ardal y cyfyngiad ar hyd llwybrau a ddiffinnir trwy gydol y cyfnod cau.Fodd bynnag, bydd y cyfyngiadau’n berthnasol dim ond ar adegau ac i’r graddau a ddangosir o bryd i’w gilydd ar arwyddion traffig a osodir gan Reoliadau a Chyfarwyddiadau Cyffredinol Arwyddion Traffig 2016.Dyddiedig:19/08/2025

BRIDGEND COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL
(SOUTH ROAD, BRIDGEND INDUSTRIAL ESTATE, BRIDGEND) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER 2025 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council as the Highway Authority for Bridgend in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) intends in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make an Order which will temporarily introduce the restriction set out in the schedule below. The Order is in the interest of public safety due to insufficient width of carriageway to maintain vehicular access during resurfacing works.The Order will come into force on the 28/08/2025 and will continue in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until such time as the works are completed, whichever is the sooner. It is anticipated the planned works will be undertaken between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00 from the 28/08/2025 to 01/09/2025.
Schedule-No person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along South Road, Bridgend Industrial Estate, Bridgend, from its junction with entrance with Toby Carvery access road, to a point approximately 115 meters east of junction with Queen Street, for a distance of approximately 695 meters.The alternative route for vehicles is via Alternative Route 1 :Via South Road, Western Avenue, York Road and South Road. Alternative route 2: Via South Road, York Road, The Kingsway, Western Avenue, South Road.Access will be provided through the restriction for Police, Fire and Ambulance Services responding to emergencies. Pedestrian access to all properties within the restriction will be maintained along defined routes throughout the period of the closure.The restrictions shall however only apply at such time and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.Dated: 19/08/2025
