Bank, Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Due To Gas Works

What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL BANK, ECCLESHILL TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of gas works to be executed on or near Bank, Eccleshill has made the abovenamed Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of Bank from its junction with Harrogate Road to a point outside No.99 Bank.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order are available via Bank (unaffected section), Bridgegate Way, Park Road, Halifax Road and vice versa.

The Order comes into operation at 08:00 hours on the 18th August 2025 and remain in force until 23:55 hours on the 1st September 2025 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
