SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B1118 DISS ROAD, STRADBROKE
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the B1118 Diss Road, Stradbroke from the junction with Ash Plough for 30 metres northbound to facilitate replacing a water meter. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the B1118, the A140, the B1117 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 26/08/2025 - 28/08/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C572 THORNHAM ROAD, GISLINGHAM
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C572 Thornham Road, Gislingham from the railway bridge for 100 metres westbound to facilitate pole testing. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Gislingham Road, Major Lane, the A140, Eye Road, The Street, Mellis Road, Yaxley, Yaxley Road, The Common, Ash Road, Mellis Road, Burgate, Mellis Road, Wortham, the A143, the B1113, Mill Street, High Street and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate on 15/08/2025 from 9.30am - 3.30pm. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U4337 COPDOCK INTERCHANGE, PINEWOOD
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U4337 Copdock Interchange, Pinewood from the road from Copdock Mill Interchange to London Road roundabout to facilitate street light repairs. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the road from Copdock Mill Interchange to London Road, Copdock Interchange and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 9pm on 26/08/2025 - 5am on 27/08/2025.
If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

This is to facilitate carriageway patching. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion route will be Cambridge Drive, Birkfield Drive, Annbrook Road, Sheldrake Drive, Ellenbrook Road, Ipswich, Ellenbrook Road, Pinewood, Stoke Park Drive, Ipswich and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 26/08/2025 - 29/08/2025 8am - 5pm with a further closure scheduled for associated works. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

The diversion route will be the A1088, the A1066, the A140, the A143 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closures will operate from:
26/08/2025 - 29/08/2025 from 7pm to 5am
24/09/2025 - 26/09/2025 from 7pm to 5am.
