What is happening?

SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE A146 BECCLES ROAD, CARLTON COLVILLE AND LOWESTOFT

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the following roads:

■ A146 Beccles Road, Carlton Colville from Anchor Way to Beccles Road, Lowestoft

■ A146 Beccles Road, Lowestoft from Beccles Road, Carlton Colville to the junction with the A1117.

This is to facilitate surface dressing and associated works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the A1117, the A1145

and vice versa.

It is intended that the closures will operate from:

15/08/2025 - 21/08/2025 from 7pm - 5am, and

17/09/2025 - 19/09/2025 from 7pm - 5am.

If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months

(or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U9024 ALDWYCK WAY, LOWESTOFT Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U9024 Aldwyck Way, Lowestoft from the junction with Long Road for 50 metres eastbound to facilitate a gas mains replacement. Other co-ordinated works may also rake place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists. The diversion route will be Long Road and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will operate from 26/08/2025 -08/09/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
