Dawson Lane, Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Due To Water Works
What is happening?
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL DAWSON LANE, BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of water works proposed to be executed on or near Dawson Lane, Bradford intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Dawson Lane from its junction with Tong Street to a point of the side of No. 136 Tong Street.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Dawson Lane (unaffected section), Ferrand Avenue, Shetcliffe Lane, Tong Street and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect at 08:00 hours on the 2591 August 2025 and remain in force until 18:00 hours on the 31st August 2025 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
