What is happening?
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
U9022 MILITARY ROAD JUNCTION TO MATFEN JUNCTION CORBRIDGE (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U9022 Military Road Junction to Matfen Junction Corbridge from its junction with the B6318 Military Road for a distance of 3500 metres in a north easterly direction in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 8th September 2025 until the 8th March 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 8th September 2025 until the 10th September 2025 between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until the 8th March 2026
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being B6318, C342, C341, U9022 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing and associated works. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.

A695/C255 MULTIPLE ROADS PRUDHOE (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections in the County of Northumberland:
A695 North Wylam And Prudhoe from its junction with B6395 Prudhoe Bypass to Beaumont Terrace heading in a north eastwards direction for a distance of 70 metres
A695 Princess Way from its junction with Prudhoe Town Tynedale District Footpath 075 heading in a westward direction for a distance of 130 metres.
C255 West Road from its junction with U8726 Castle View heading in a north westwards direction for a distance of 247 metres.
The Order is to be effective from the 1st September 2025 until the 10th November 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 1st September 2025 until the 5th September 2025 for the purpose of surface dressing and associated works; however, the order will remain in place until 10th November 2025
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being B6395, B6396, A6079, C3617, A695, B6395 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.
Access for Emergency Vehicles and Pedestrians Way being via C2585, C254, C341, B6317, A695 and vice-versa.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
C302 PARK ROAD AND U7069 GREENCROFT AVENUE, HALTWHISTLE (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of roads in Haltwhistle in the County of Northumberland:
C302 Park Road from its junction with U7069 Greencroft Avenue heading in a north easterly direction for a distance of 457 metres.
U7069 Greencroft Avenue from its junction with C302 Park Road heading in a north westerly direction for a distance of 27 metres.
The Order is to be effective from the 3rd September 2025 until the 4th February 2026.
It is anticipated that C302 Park Road will only be closed from the 11th September 2025 until the 26th January 2026 and that the road will be closed at all times during this period; however the order will remain in place until 4th February 2026.
It is anticipated that U7069 Greencroft Avenue will only be closed from the 11th September 2025 until the 23rd September 2025 and that the road will be closed at all times during this period; however the order will remain in place until 4th February 2026.
An alternative route for U7069 Greencroft Avenue will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via C302, U7069 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.
An alternative route for C302 Park Road will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via C336, B6318, B630, A69, B6322 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

C254 STATION ROAD WYLAM (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C254 Station Road Wylam from its junction with Wylam Tynedale District Footpath 015 heading in a north easterly direction for a distance of 247 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 23rd August 2025 until the 5th September 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed between the 23rd August 2025 and the 24th August 2025 and then the 30th August 2025 between the hours of 23:30-08:00 and then the 30th and 31st August 2025 between the hours of 23:30-08:00.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being B6528, A69, B6528, A69, A695, B6317, C301 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
U8174 BEAUFORT WOODHEAD FARM TO STAGSHAW BANK SANDHOE (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and in accordance with Regulation 7 of The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Procedure Regulations 1992 in that the following restrictions will continue to be in force on the U8174 Beaufort Woodhead Farm to Stagshaw Bank Sandhoe in the County of Northumberland.
Temporary Road Closure:
A temporary road closure has continued to be in force and all users will be prohibited to use the U8174 Beaufort Woodhead Farm to Stagshaw Bank 375 metres eastwards from its junction with U8185 Anick Grange Junction to Beaufort Castle Junction heading in a north eastwards direction for a distance of 113 metres (“the Road”) in the County of Northumberland.
An alternative route will be available being via U8174, U8179, U8180, C239 and vice-versa.
This Order came into force on the 5th August 2025 and will remain in force until the 15th August 2025.
The closure has been requested by Northumbrian Water Limited due to delays.
