Beverley Road, Anlaby - Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic
What is happening?
THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (1) - TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC BEVERLEY ROAD, ANLABY (PART)
Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Beverley Road, Anlaby (between 202 Beverley Road and Springfield Way roundabout) commencing Monday 8 September 2025 due to gas mains replacement works.
The road closure is necessary to enable the works to be carried out in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public. The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 3 October 2025.
The alternative route for traffic affected by the road closure will be via: Beverley Road, Haltemprice Roundabout, South Ella Way, Gorton Road, Gorton Road Roundabout, Kingston Road, Willerby Square Roundabout, Great Gutter Lane Roundabout, Willerby Roundabout, Humber Bridge Northern Approach Road, Riplingham Road Roundabout, Swanland Roundabout, Tranby Lane, Anlaby.
The diversion route will be signed at the time of closure. The road will remain open for pedestrians, residents access and emergency services. Further information can be obtained by contacting Highways Customer Care, tel (01482) 393939.
