Cambridgeshire - Multiple Traffic Notices, 20mph Speed Limit Order
What is happening?
CAMBRIDGESHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(Various Roads, Fordham), (20mph Speed Limit), Order 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that on the 6th August 2025 Cambridgeshire County Council made the above named Order under the powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and the Traffic Management Act 2004 (as amended).
The effect of this Order is to implement a 20mph speed limit on lengths of Carter Street, Mill Lane, Sharmans Road (B1102) as specified in the Order documents and over the entire length of the following roads; Feltons, Frown Close, Grove Gardens, Grove Park, Harry Palmer Close, Hillside Meadow, Stewards Fields, Walton Close and Withers Place.
A copy of the above Order, which comes into operation on the 15th August 2025 together with plans showing the effect of the Order and a Statement of the Reason for making the Order, may be inspected online at https://shorturl.at/cjnIO
or copies requested by emailing policyandregulation@cambridgeshire.gov.uk
Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks from the 6th August 2025 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
