What is happening?

CYNNIG TRAFFIG DROS DRO GORCHYMYN CYNGOR SIR DINAS A SIR CAERDYDD (PLAS BUTE A RHODFA LLOYD GEORGE, CAERDYDD) CYNGOR SIR DINAS A SIR CAERDYDD 2025 

Mae Cyngor Sir Dinas a Sir Caerdydd, wrth arfer ei bwerau dan Adran 14(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd), a’r holl bwerau galluogi eraill, yn bwriadu, mewn dim llai na 7 diwrnod wedi dyddiad yr Hysbysiad hwn, wneud Gorchymyn a’i effaith gyffredinol fydd atal unrhyw gerbyd rhag defnyddio neu fynd ar hyd: 

I. Plas Bute o’r gyffordd â Stryd Bute i gyfeiriad y dwyrain hyd at y gyffordd â Rhodfa Lloyd George 

II. Rhodfa Lloyd George o'r gyffordd â Plas Bute i gyfeiriad y gogledd am bellter o 130 metr Mae'r Gorchymyn yn angenrheidiol i hwyluso gwaith ar y briffordd gerllaw iddi a disgwylir iddo fod ar waith rhwng 7:00pm bob nos a 5:00am bob bore o ddydd Sul 31 Awst 2025 i ddydd Mercher 3 Medi 2025 a dydd Llun 8 Medi 2025 i ddydd Mercher 10 Medi 2025 neu hyd nes y bydd y gwaith wedi'i gwblhau. 

Dim ond ar yr adegau ac i’r graddau a nodir ar arwyddion a/neu hysbysiadau sy’n cael eu harddangos y bydd y cyfyngiad dan sylw ar waith. Bydd y Gorchymyn yn parhau ar waith am hyd at 18 mis. 

Y llwybr amgen ar gyfer cerbydau y mae’r hysbysiad hwn yn effeithio arnynt fydd ar hyd Plas Bute, Stryd Bute, a Heol Hemingway. Enw'r Gorchymyn fydd "Gorchymyn Cyngor Sir Dinas a Sir Caerdydd (Plas Bute a Rhodfa Lloyd George) (Cau Dros Dro) 2025”.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC PROPOSAL THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY AND COUNTY OF CARDIFF (BUTE PLACE AND LLOYD GEORGE AVENUE, CARDIFF) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES) ORDER 2025 

The County Council of the City and County of Cardiff in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), and of all other enabling powers intends in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the general effect of which is to prevent any vehicles from using or proceeding along: 

Bute Place in an eastbound direction from its junction with Bute Street to its junction with Lloyd George Avenue Lloyd George Avenue from its junction with Bute Place in a northbound direction for a distance of 130 metres 

The Order is necessary to facilitate works on or near to the highway and is expected to be in operation between the hours of 7:00pm each evening and 5:00am each morning from Sunday 31st August 2025 to Wednesday 3rd September 2025 and Monday 8th September 2025 to Wednesday 10th September 2025 or until works are complete. 

The restriction specified will only have the effect at such times and to such extent as indicated by the display of signs and/or notices. The Order will remain in force for a maximum of 18 months. 

The alternative route for vehicles affected by the above closures will be via Bute Place, Bute Street and Hemingway Road. The Order will be known as “The County Council of the City and County of Cardiff (Bute Place and Lloyd George Avenue, Cardiff) (Temporary Road Closures) Order 2025”.
