Priory Close, Bridgend - Temporarily Introduce Restriction Due to the Carriageway Closure Being Required for Safe Working

RHODDIR HYSBYSIAD DRWY HYN fod y Cyngor fel yr Awdurdod Priffyrdd ar gyfer Pen-y-bont ar Ogwr, wrth arfer ei bwerau dan Adran 14(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd), yn bwriadu creu Gorchymyn, a hynny heb fod yn llai na 7 diwrnod o ddyddiad yr Hysbysiad hwn, a fydd yn cyflwyno dros dro y cyfyngiadau a nodir yn yr atodlen isod. Mae'r Gorchymyn yn angenrheidiol oherwydd bod angen cau'r lôn gerbydau ar gyfer gweithio yn ddiogel oherwydd gosod 10.5 metr o bibell ddŵr. Daw'r Gorchymyn i rym ar 01/09/2025 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am uchafswm o 18 mis neu hyd nes y bydd y gwaith wedi'i gwblhau, p'un bynnag sydd gynharaf. Rhagwelir y bydd y gwaith arfaethedig yn cael ei wneud rhwng 09:00am a 17:00pm ar 01/09/2025, neu hyd nes y bydd y gwaith wedi'i gwblhau, hyd at uchafswm o 18 mis. 

Atodlen - Ni chaiff unrhyw berson beri i unrhyw gerbyd fynd ar hyd Priory Close, Pen-y-bont ar Ogwr, o bwynt gyferbyn â Rhif 13 Priory Close i gyfeiriad y gogledd hyd at ddiwedd y ffordd bengaead, am oddeutu 20 metr. Nid oes llwybr amgen ar gyfer cerbydau oherwydd ei bod yn ffordd bengaead. Ni fydd mynediad parhaus ar gyfer y gwasanaethau brys. Bydd mynediad i gerddwyr at yr holl eiddo. Fodd bynnag, bydd y cyfyngiadau’n berthnasol dim ond ar adegau ac i’r graddau a ddangosir o bryd i’w gilydd ar arwyddion traffig a osodir gan Reoliadau a Chyfarwyddiadau Cyffredinol Arwyddion Traffig 2016.

BRIDGEND COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL (PRIORY CLOSE, BRIDGEND) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER 2025 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council as the Highway Authority for Bridgend in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) intends in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make an Order which will temporarily introduce the restriction set out in the schedule below. The Order is necessary due to the carriageway closure being required for safe working due to installing 10.5 meters of duct. The Order will come into force on the 01/09/2025 and will continue in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until such time as the works are completed, whichever is the sooner. It is anticipated the planned works will be undertaken from 09:00am until 17:00pm on 01/09/2025, or until the works are completed, up to a maximum of 18 months. 

Schedule - No person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Priory Close, Bridgend, from a point opposite Number 13 Priory Close in a northerly direction to the end of the cul-de-sac, for a distance of approximately 20 metres. There is no alternative route for vehicles due to the street being a cul-de-sac. Access will not be maintained for emergency services. Pedestrian access will be maintained to all properties. The restrictions shall however only apply at such time and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
