RHODDIR RHYBUDD DRWY HYN fod y Cyngor fel yr Awdurdod Priffyrdd dros Ben-y-bont ar Ogwr gan arfer ei bwerau dan Adran 14(1) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd) wedi gwneud Gorchymyn sy’n cyflwyno dros dro y cyfyngiad a eglurir yn yr atodlen isod. Mae'r Gorchymyn yn angenrheidiol oherwydd gwaith i osod gwasanaeth nwy newydd a’r ffordd heb fod yn ddigon llydan i sicrhau gweithio’n ddiogel. Daw y Gorchymyn i rym ar 18/08/2025 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am gyfnod o 18 mis ar y mwyaf, neu tan y cyfryw amser ag y bydd y gwaith wedi cael ei gwblhau, p’un bynnag fydd y cyntaf. 

Atodlen - Ni chaiff yr un person beri i gerbyd symud ymlaen ar hyd Teras Woodland, Pant-yr-Awel, Pen-y-bont ar Ogwr, CF32 7LB o’i gyffordd â Hillside hyd at ei gyffordd â Theras Hillside. Disgwylir i’r gwaith a gynlluniwyd gael ei wneud rhwng 09:00a.m. ar 18/08/2025 a 16:30p.m. ar 22/08/2025, neu tan y cyfryw amser ag y bydd y gwaith wedi cael ei gwblhau hyd at 18 mis ar y mwyaf. Bydd y llwybr amgen i gerbydau ar hyd Hillside a Theras Hillside, ac i’r gwrthwyneb. Cedwir mynediad i’r gwasanaethau brys. Cedwir mynediad i gerddwyr at bob eiddo. BRIDGEND COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL (WOODLAND TERRACE, BRIDGEND) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER 2025 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council as the Highway Authority for Bridgend in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) has made an Order which temporarily introduces the restriction set out in the schedule below. The Order is necessary due to works to lay a new gas service with the road width not being sufficient to maintain safe working. The Order will come into force on the 18/08/2025 and will continue in force for a maximum period of 18 months, or until such time as the works are completed, whichever is the sooner. 

Schedule - No person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Woodland Terrace, Pany-Yr-Awel, Bridgend, CF32 7LB from its Junction with Hillside to its Junction with Hillside Terrace. 

It is anticipated the planned works will be undertaken between the hours of 09:00am on the 18/08/2025 until 16:30pm on the 22/08/2025, or until such time as the works are completed up to a maximum of 18 months. 

The alternative route for vehicles is via, Hillside and Hillside Terrace, and Vice Versa. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Pedestrian access will be maintained to all properties. 

The restrictions shall however only apply at such time and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
