What is happening?

City of Stoke on Trent (Traffic Regulation) (Darwin Drive) (No.8) Order 2025 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Stoke on Trent propose to make an Order under the provisions of Sections 1, 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 122 and Section 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be to introduce: 

1.Double Yellow Lines at the following locations Brunel Close (Both Sides) - from its junction with Darwin Drive for a distance of 5 metres in a northerly direction Stephenson Grove (Both Sides) - from its junction with Darwin Drive for a distance of 5 metres in a southerly direction Darwin Drive (North Side) 

i)from its junction with Scotia Road for a distance of 15 metres in a westerly direction. 

ii)from a point 21 metres west of its junction with Scotia Road to a point 50 metres west of its junction with Scotia Road. (South Side) - from its junction with Scotia Road for a distance of 49 metres in a westerly direction (East Side) - from its junction with Stephenson Grove for a distance of 22 metres in a northerly direction (South West Side) - from its junction with Stephenson Grove for a distance of 22 metres in a westerly direction (North East Side) - from its junction with Brunel Close for a distance of 22 metres in a southerly direction (West Side) - from its junction with Brunel Close for a distance of 22 metres in a southerly direction 

Full details of this proposals are contained in draft Orders which, together with maps showing the roads concerned and a statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to make this Order, may be examined at https://stoke.traffweb.app/traffweb/3/PublicConsultation. 

Any observations, either supporting or objecting to the proposed Order, including the grounds for your objection should be sent in writing to Directorate of Housing, Regeneration & Operations, f.a.o Traffic Section, Floor 3, Civic Centre ST4 1HH or by e-mail to traffic.orders@stoke.gov.uk, quoting reference: DF/NM/TRO8/2025, by the 7th day of September 2025.
