What is happening?
HIGHWAYS
Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
DARTFORD AREA
B255 Whitehill Road, Longfield, DA3 7QS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of a new connection to a SEW main, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B255 Whitehill Road, Longfield, on or after 8th September 2025 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed at the junction with Northdown Road.
The alternative route is via B255 Whitehill Road, B260 Green Street Green Road, B262 Sandbanks Hill, B255 Highcross Road and vice versa.
The Gables, Longfield, DA3 7EX (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of UK Power Networks, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of The Gables, Longfield, on or after 26th August 2025 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 9.
There is no alternative route but access will be given as and when safe to do so.
