Wootton Road, Hordle, New Forest - Temporary Road Closure due to utility works
What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Wootton Road between its junction with B3055 and continuing to a point 100 metres Northwest on Wootton Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Wootton Road, Tiptoe Road, B3058, B3055. DURATION OF ORDER: from Monday 1st September 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 2 months and this order will be in operation 24 hours a day).
The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Quantum Civil Engineering to complete utility works. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: phil@quantumcivilengineering.com.
