Snooks Lane, Boldre, New Forest - Temporary Road Closure due to utility works
What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Snook Lane between its junction with South Baddesley Road and continuing to a point 370 metres North on Snooks Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Snooks Lane, South Baddesley Road, Undershore Road, Walhampton Hill, Main Road.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Wednesday 3rd September 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day and working between the hours 08:00-17:00).
The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Connect It Utility Services to complete overhead cable upgrades. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: nrswa@cius.co.uk.
