DRWY HYN RYBUDD fod Cyngor Gwynedd wedi gwneud Gorchymyn sydd yn gwahardd unrhyw berson rhag peri i unrhyw gerbyd fynd mewn unrhyw gyfeiriad ar hyd y darn hwnnw o’r Ffordd Di-Ddosbarth a adwaenir fel Balkan Hill, Aberdyfi o’r gyffordd gyda Hopeland Street gan deithio mewn cyfeiriad de ddwyreiniol am bellter o oddeutu 60 metr.

Mae angen y Gorchymyn ar sail iechyd a diogelwch i’r cyhoedd yn ystod gwaith ar ran Scottish Power.

Y ffordd arall yw teithio mewn cyfeiriad de orllewinol ar Mynydd Isaf a throi i’r chwith yn y gyffordd gyda Copperhill Street. Teithio ar y ffordd hon mewn cyfeiriad de ddwyreiniol hyd at y caead ac i’r gwrthwyneb ar gyfer cerbydau sydd yn teithio i’r cyfeiriad arall. Bydd mynediad ar gael i drigolion.

Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar y 15fed o Fedi 2025 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am gyfnod na fydd hwy na un mis neu hyd nes y cwblheir y gwaith y bwriedir ei wneud ar y ffordd, pa un bynnag fyddo gyntaf. (UNCLASSIFIED ROAD KNOWN AS BALKAN HILL, ABERDOVEY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Gwynedd Council have made an Order, the effect of which is to prohibit any person from causing any vehicle to proceed in either direction along that length of Unclassified Road known as Balkan Hill, Aberdovey from a point by its junction with Hopeland Street travelling south easterly for a distance of approximately 60 metres.

The Order is necessary on health and safety grounds to the public during works on behalf of Scottish Power.

The alternative route is to travel south westerly on Mynydd Isaf then turn left at the junction with Copperhill Street. Travel on this road in a south easterly direction up to the closure and vice versa for vehicles travelling in the opposite direction.
Access will be maintained for residents.

The Order comes into effect on the 15th of September, 2025 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding one month or until the work which it is proposed to carry out on the road is completed, whichever is the earlier.
