Planetrees Road, Bradford - Temporary Road Closure due to Gas Works

CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL

PLANETREES ROAD, BRADFORD

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of gas works proposed to be executed on or near Planetrees Road, Bradford intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Planetrees Road from its entrance to Dixon Hall & Co to a point outside Planetrees Business Park.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Planetrees Road (unaffected section), Bowling Back Lane, Sticker Lane, Laisterdyke, Leeds Road and vice versa.

The proposed Order will come into effect at 08:00 hours on the 26th August 2025 and remain in force until 23.55 hours on the 19th December 2025 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
