Stanley Hill (B3405) Pirbright Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025

On 8 August 2025, Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Stanley Hill (B3405) Pirbright as extends from the access for the property known as “Manyuema” to the access for the property known as “The Lodge”.

Alternative Route – B2012 (Gapemouth Road), Tunnel Hill Road and Grange Road, or this route in reverse. 

This Order is required to enable UKPN to facilitate electrical works and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 26 August 2025 for 3 days, between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation for 24-hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, residents, dismounted cyclists and dismounted equestrians will be maintained at all times. 

Stocton Road (D4005) Guildford Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025

On 8 August 2025, Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Stocton Road (D4005) Guildford as extends from its junction with Woodbridge Road (A322) to its junction with Stocton Close (X4005).
There is no alternative route for this closure. 
This Order is required to enable Thames Water to facilitate water works and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 23 August 2025 for 2 nights, between the hours of 9.00pm and 5.00am. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation for 24-hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, residents, dismounted cyclists and dismounted equestrians will be maintained at all times. 

Sydenham Road (D4014) Guildford Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
On 8 August 2025, Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to (a) prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Sydenham Road (D4014) Guildford as extends from its junction with Bright Hill (D4014) to its junction with Brodie Road (D4014); and (b) prohibit the use of the footway adjacent to the length of road described in (a).

Alternative route – South Hill, Warwicks Bench, Warwicks Bench Road, Echopit Lane, Pilgrims Way, A281 (Shalford Road, Quarry Street and Millbrook), A322 (Onslow Street), A31 (Farnham Road), A322 (Bridge Street and Onslow Street), A246 (York Road), A3100 (London Road), A246 (Epsom Road) and Jenner Road. For pedestrians and cyclists – Sydenham Road, Tunsgate, High Street, Epsom Road and Jenner Road. 

This Order is required to enable Thames Water to facilitate a new water connection and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 27 August 2025 for 2 days, between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation for 24-hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to properties within the closure will be maintained at all times. 

B368 Send Marsh Road, Ripley Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.2) 2025
On 13 August 2025 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) and (7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to:- 1. Prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of B368 Send Marsh Road, Ripley. 2. Suspend “The Surrey County Council Send Marsh Road (B368) Send Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025” in its entirety. This Traffic Order is required to enable Southern Gas Networks and/or I&G Contractors to carry out gas mains installation and/or connection and/or maintenance works in B368 Send Marsh Road between B2215 Portsmouth Road and Manor Road. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 8am and 5pm, within 6 months of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 01 September 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure which is anticipated to be required for 24 hours each day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, residents, businesses, pedestrians, cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times. Alternative route:- Send Marsh Road, Send Barns Lane and Portsmouth Road.

Burnt Common Lane, Ripley Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.2) 2025

On 13 August 2025 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) and (7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to:- 1. Prohibit all traffic (including pedestrians and cyclists) from entering or proceeding in that length of Burnt Common Lane, Ripley that extends from its junction with Eastfield Drive, southwards to the end of the road. 2. Suspend “The Surrey County Council Burnt Common Lane (D960) Ripley Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024” in its entirety. This Traffic Order is required to enable Brownes to carry out trunk main installation and/or connection and/or maintenance works. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 7am and 6pm, within 5 weeks of the 6 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 01 September 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure which is anticipated to be required for 24 hours each day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and, dismounted cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times via Rights of Way route 603 and the footway to A247 Clandon Road. There is no applicable alternative route for vehicular traffic however no sole access will be affected; access for emergency services, residents and businesses will be maintained at all times from the northern end of Burnt Common Lane. 

D922 Ashtrees, Cranleigh Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
On 13 August 2025 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of D922 Ashtrees, Cranleigh. This Traffic Order is required to enable Water Supply Surveys Limited to make new water and/or sewer mains installations and/or connections and/or maintenance works in D922 Ashtrees, Cranleigh between “No.3 Ashtrees” and “No.70 Portsmouth Road”. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 8am and 5pm, within 12 days of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 01 September 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure which is anticipated to be required for 24 hours each day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, residents, businesses, pedestrians, cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times under direction of marshals and/or by means of road plates. Alternative route:- Trelawne Drive, Hitherwood and Horsham Road.

Claygate Lane (D6815) Thames Ditton Temporary Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Unloading Order 2025

On 13 August 2025 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Order under Sections 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting, loading, and unloading at any time, by vehicles on the south eastbound carriageway Claygate Lane (D6815) Thames Ditton as extends from a point in line with the common boundary between No.08 and No.10 Claygate Lane to a point in line with the common boundary between No.14 and No.16 Claygate Lane. This Temporary Order is required to enable vehicles to turn safely in and out of site location opposite for, or on behalf of Trident Property Construction Ltd. These works are anticipated to be carried out as soon as possible, between the hours of 9.30am and 3pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Order which commences on 25 August 2025. This temporary restriction, which is anticipated to be in operation for 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed and only to such extent as indicated by those traffic signs. Exemptions apply for vehicles when waiting because they are required by law to stop, are obliged to stop in order to prevent an accident or are prevented from proceeding because of circumstances outside the drivers control and in respect of anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or of a civil enforcement officer will apply when the temporary restrictions are in force. (N.B. Disabled persons displaying a disabled blue badge will not be exempt from the temporary waiting restriction).

Portsmouth Road (A307) Esher Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.2) 2025
On 13 August 2025 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of; (a) the westbound carriageway of Portsmouth Road (A307) Esher as extends from its roundabouts with (A309) Scilly Isles Roundabout, and (A309) Kingston By-Pass and for a distance of 300 metres in a westerly direction; (b) Suspend “The Surrey County Council Various Roads in Oxshott, Cobham, and Leatherhead (Prohibition of Heavy Commercial Vehicles) Order 2024” insofar as it affects the length of roads specified in this Notice. Alternative Route: (A309) Scilly Isles Roundabout, (A309) Kingston By-Pass, (A243) Hook Road, (A243) Leatherhead Road, (A243) Kingston Road, (A244) Oxshott Road, (A244) Leatherhead Road, (A244) High Street, (A244) Warren Lane, (A244) Copsem Lane, (A244) Claremont Lane, (A307) High Street, and (A307) Portsmouth Road, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate the replacement of a telecommunication mast along Portsmouth Road for, or on behalf of Clearview and EE Ltd. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 night, between the hours of 10pm and 6am, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 26 August 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency service vehicles, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. All other vehicular traffic will be required to use the signed diversion route. No sole access is affected by this closure.

Wick Road (D3112) Englefield Green Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.2) 2025
On 13 August 2025 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of; (a) Wick Road (D3112) Englefield Green as extends from its junction with (D3123) Blays Lane to its junction with (D3112) Wick Lane; (b) Suspend “The Surrey County Council Wick Road (D3112) Englefield Green Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025” in its entirety. Alternative Route: Wick Road, (A30) London Road, (A328) St Judes Road, Bond Street, Kings Lane, and Wick Lane, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate replacement of telecom pole works for, or on behalf of BT Openreach. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 day, between the hours of 8am and 6pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 28 August 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and 
dismounted cyclists. 

Eashing Lane (D94) Godalming Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025

On 13 August 2025 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Eashing Lane (D94) Godalming as extends from its junction with ((D90) The Hollow to its junction with (D5424) Aarons Hill. Alternative Route: Eashing Lane, (A3100) Portsmouth Road, and (A283) Guildford Road,or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate telecom pole installation works for, or on behalf of BT Openreach. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 day, between the hours of 9.30am and 3.30pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 31 August 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists. 

A3100 London Road, Guildford Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025

On 13 August 2025 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of A3100 London Road, Guildford from its junction with Boxgrove Road to its junction with the access road (entrance) into Guildford High School. This Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to facilitate footway resurfacing works, which is anticipated to be completed as soon as possible within the 18 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 19 August 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. In the event that it is necessary to restrict any access at any time under Section 3 of the Act, the road can only be closed for a maximum of 8 hours in any 24-hour period. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access for emergency service vehicles to these properties, will be maintained when safe to do so and if necessary via the signed diversion route. Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times. Alternative Route 1 (main diversion) – A3100 London Road, A246 York Road, A322 Woodbridge Road, A25 Ladymead and A25 Parkway; Alternative Route 2 (Cross Lanes diversion) – D4007 Cross Lanes, A246 Epsom Road, A246 Waterden Road and then follow the main diversion route.

C35 Dunsfold Road, Alfold Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of C35 Dunsfold Road, Alfold. This Traffic Order is required to enable Thames Water to carry out service pipe repair and/or installation and/or connection and/or maintenance works in C35 Dunsfold Road, Alfold outside “Brockhurst Cottages”. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 9am and 6pm, within 3 days of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 16 September 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure which is anticipated to be required for 24 hours each day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, residents, businesses, pedestrians, cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times by means of road plates. 

Alternative route:- Alfold By-Pass, Dunsfold Road and Dunsfold Common Road.

D100 School Lane, Shackleford Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of D100 School Lane, Shackleford that extends from the south-western property boundary of “Norney Grove”, to the north-western property boundary of “Cedar House”. This Traffic Order is required to enable Barr Engineering Services Limited/BT Openreach to carry out excavations for a new telegraph pole/s and/or telegraph pole replacement and/or to carry out overhead cabling and/ or maintenance works. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 8am and 6pm within 1 day of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 15 September 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, residents, businesses, pedestrians, cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times. 

Alternative route:- Elstead Road, Shackleford Road and School Lane.

A281 Millbrook, Guildford Temporary Banned Right Turn Order 2025
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to:- 1. Prohibit vehicles that are proceeding in an easterly direction from “Millbrook Car Park”, Guildford from turning right into A281 Millbrook, Guildford. 2. Prohibit vehicles that are proceeding in a south-easterly direction on A281 Millbrook, Guildford from turning right into “Millbrook Car Park”, Guildford”. This Traffic Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to carry out traffic signal refurbishment and/or repair and/or maintenance and/or highway works. These works are anticipated to be carried out at night, within 3 weeks of the 18 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 08 September 2025.
Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary banned turns will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. 
Access for pedestrians and, dismounted cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times. Access for emergency services, residents and businesses will be maintained at all times via the alternative route:- Millbrook, Onslow Street, Park Street, A322 Bridge Street, Onslow Street, Millbrook. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner.

A317 Church Street, A317 Weybridge Road and A317 Balfour Road, Weybridge
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025

Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to:- 1. a) Prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of A317 Weybridge Road and A317 Balfour Road, Weybridge that extends from the junction with D3877 Old Wharf Way, to the junction with B374 Church Street and A317 Church Street. Anticipated duration – 7 days, weekends and nights only (7pm to 6am). b) Prohibit traffic that from proceeding in that length of A317 Weybridge Road and A317 Balfour Road, Weybridge that extends from the junction with D3877 Old Wharf Way, to the junction with B374 Church Street and A317 Church Street other than in an easterly direction. Anticipated to be required for 24 hours each day for 28 days. Alternative route – Heath Road, Brooklands Road, Parvis Road, Old Woking Road, Sheerwater Road, Woodham Lane, New Haw Road, Brighton Road, Addlestone High Street, Chertsey Road, Woburn Hill and Weybridge Road. 2. a) Prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of A317 Church Street, Weybridge that extends from its junction with A317 Balfour Road, to its junction with C154 Baker Street and A317 High Street. Anticipated duration – 14 days, weekends and nights only (7pm to 6am). b) Prohibit traffic that from proceeding in that length of A317 Church Street, Weybridge that extends from its junction with A317 Balfour Road, to its junction with C154 Baker Street and A317 High Street other than in an easterly direction. Anticipated to be required for 24 hours each day for 6 months. 

Alternative route – Church Street, Weybridge High Street, Monument Hill, Queens Road, Hanger Hill, Heath Road and Church Street.

This Traffic Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to carry out major highway improvement works, to include footway widening and/or cycleway improvements and/or installation of raised tables and/or zebra crossings and/or drainage improvements and/or street furniture improvements and/or kerbing and/or surfacing and/or maintenance works. These works are anticipated to be carried out within 7 months of the 18 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 08 September 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closures and one way systems will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.
 
Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner. Access for emergency services, pedestrians and, dismounted cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times. Access for affected property will be maintained at all times via the alternative routes described above.

Various Roads in Weybridge Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025

Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in:- a) That length of B374 Heath Road, Weybridge that extends from the north-western side of its roundabout junction with B373 Hanger Hill, B374 Brooklands Road, Station Approach and D3887 Old Heath Road “the Heath Road Roundabout”, to its southern junction with D3886 Waverley Road. Anticipated duration – 12 nights. 

Alternative route:- Heath Road, Church Street, Weybridge High Street, Monument Hill and Hanger Hill. b) That length of B373 Hanger Hill, Weybridge that extends from its junction with “the Heath Road Roundabout”, to the south-eastern property boundary of “No.42 Hanger Hill”. Anticipated duration – 6 nights. Alternative route:- Heath Road, Church Street, Weybridge High Street, Monument Hill and Hanger Hill. c) A3050 Oatlands Drive, Weybridge that extends from its junction with A317 Monument Hill, to the western side of its junction with D3918 Park Lawn Road. Anticipated duration – 3 nights. 

Alternative route:- Oatlands Drive, New Zealand Avenue, A244 Walton on Thames High Street/A244 Ashley Road, B365 Ashley Road and Queens Road.

This Traffic Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to carry out major highway improvement works:- to include installation of road tables and/or kerbing, surfacing and/or maintenance works. These works are anticipated to be carried out in sections overnight between the hours of 7pm and 6am, within 3 weeks of the 18 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 08 September 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closures will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Works are anticipated to be progressed in phases, with each closure taking place in sequence; temporary traffic management will move within the closure extent as required for the installation of each road table. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner. Access for emergency services, pedestrians and, dismounted cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times. Access for affected property will be maintained at all times via the alternative routes described above. 

Heathbridge Approach (DZZ) Weybridge Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit all traffic (including pedestrians and cyclists) from entering or proceeding in the entire length of Heathbridge Approach (DZZ) Weybridge. This Order is required to facilitate replacement of telecom mast works for, or on behalf of EE. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 night, between the hours of 10pm and 6am, during the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 09 September 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access will be maintained for emergency service vehicles at all times. Due to the nature of the works, there will be no access through the closure area. Ther is no alternative route for this closure. No sole access will be affected by this closure.

Brook Hill (D194), Brook Lane, and Little London and (D222) Albury 
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.1) 2025
 Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from driving or proceeding in that length of; (a) Brook Hill (D194) Albury as extends from its junction with (D222) Brook Lane to its junction with (D194) New Road; (b) Brook Lane (D222) Albury as extends from its junction with (D194) Brook Hill to its junction with (D222) Little London; (c) Little London (D222) Albury as extends from its junction with (D222) Brook Lane to its junction with (D222) Shere Heath Road; (d) Suspend “The Surrey County Council Little London, and Brook Lane (D222) Albury Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.2) 2024” in its entirety; (e) Suspend “The Surrey County Council Brook Hill (D194) Albury Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.2) 2024” in its entirety. Alternative Route: (1) Shere Heath Road, Sandy Lane, Hound House Road, Windmill Plain, Horseblock Hollow, Barhatch Lane, Amlets Lane, Mannings Hill, Smithwood Common Road, (B2128) Guildford Road, (B2128) Stroud Common, (B2128) Church Hill, Woodhill Lane, Farley Heath Road, August Lane, and Brook Hill, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate North Down Line upgrade works for, or on behalf of Network Rail. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 16 nights, between the hours of 23.55pm and 6am, within the 18-month period of operation of this Order which commences on 13 September 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for residents, pedestrians and dismounted cyclist will be maintained at all times. All other vehicular traffic, including emergency service vehicles, will be required to follow the diversion route. 

D7009 Derwent Road Footpath, Egham Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit pedestrians and/or other traffic proceeding on foot or by any means from entering or proceeding in the entire length of D7009 Derwent Road Footpath, Egham. This Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to facilitate footway slurry works which is anticipated to be completed as soon as possible within the 6 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 1 September 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. No sole means of access to any premises will be affected. There is no alternative route available for this closure. 

D307 Selsdon Road, Addlestone Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of D307 Selsdon Road, Addlestone. This Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to facilitate surface dressing works and/or major maintenance, which is anticipated to be completed as soon as possible within the 18 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 1 September 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. In the event that it is necessary to restrict any access at any time under Section 3 of the Act, the road can only be closed for a maximum of 8 hours in any 24-hour period. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access for emergency service vehicles to these properties, will be maintained when safe to do so and if necessary via the signed diversion route. 

Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times. 

Alternative Route – C130 Scotland Bridge Road, B385 Woodham Lane, D3070 Farleigh Road and D3070 Keston Avenue.
