(PLANE STREET, NEWSOME, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the footpath has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in that length of Plane Street, Newsome, from footpath 238, Plane Street to its junction with Stile Common Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to persons carrying out the proposed works.
No diversion required.
The closure which came into operation on 18 April 2025 has been extended and will remain in force for a further period until 3 October 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 6 months if necessary).
(GREAT NORTHERN STREET, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Great Northern Street, Huddersfield from a point approximately outside The Hudawi Centre to a point approximately to the side of Beaumont Street PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
No Diversion as Parking Bay Suspension only.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Saturday 30 August 2025 and remain in force until 28 September 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(PYMROYD LANE, MILNSBRIDGE, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Pymroyd Lane, Milnsbridge, from a point approximately outside property no. 12 Pymroyd Lane to a point approximately outside property no. 22 Pymroyd Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Peckett Close, Huddersfield from its junction with Reinwood Road to the end of Peckett Close PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Poplar Street, Huddersfield from its junction with Wakefield Road to a point approximately outside property no. 46 Poplar Street PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via:

It is intended that the closure will commence on Tuesday 2 September and remain in force for approximately one day (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(HOOD STREET, BERRY BROW, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of : Hood Street, Berry Brow, from approximately 20 metres either side of the bridge on Hood Street PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Cowlersley Lane, Cowlersley, from its junction with Yew Tree Lane to its junction with Winget Avenue PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Tuesday 2 September 2025 and remain in force for approximately one day between the hours of 19:00 to 23:30 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(MARSDEN LANE, SLAITHWAITE, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO 3) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Marsden Lane, Slaithwaite, from its junction with Park Gate Road for approximately 20 metres southwest along Marsden Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Tuesday 2 September 2025 22:00 and remain in force until 3 September 2025 06:00 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(YORK AVENUE, FARTOWN, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of York Avenue, Fartown, from its junction with Bradford Road, to its junction with Cowcliffe Hill PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring ac cess up to the point(s) of the closure.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO 3) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Moor Side Lane, Slaithwaite, Huddersfield from a point opposite property no.5 Moor Side Lane to its junction with Crimea Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

(HOLLOWGATE, HOLMFIRTH AND SUSPENSION OF NO ENTRY ONTO HOLLOWGATE FROM HUDDERSFIELD ROAD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Hollowgate, Holmfirth from a point outside property no.1 Hollowgate to a point outside property no. 13-17 Hollowgate to include point closure at junction of New Fold PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via unaffected part of Hollowgate, Victoria Street, Huddersfield Road, Hollowgate and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on 21 August 2025 to follow on from the expiry of the Emergency Notice dated 29 July 2025 and will remain in force until 31 January 2026 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(SHELLEY WOODHOUSE LANE, SHELLEY, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Shelley Woodhouse Lane, Shelley from its junction with Huddersfield Road for approximately 475 metres South PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Clough Road, Flockton, from its junction with Pinfold Lane to approximately 100 metres down from junction of Mill Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
