NOTICE OF MAKING OF ORDER SECTION 14 OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
BATH AND NORTH EAST SOMERSET COUNCIL
(PUBLIC FOOTPATH CL4/25, CHURCH LANE, CHEW STOKE)
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025

Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order to temporarily introduce a closure to Public Footpath CL4/25 commencing from the county boundary at ST54736156 and proceeding in a generally ENE direction for approx 820m to a junction with Public Footpath CL4/20 at ST55486182.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the right of way: namely surfacing works on a particularly muddy section of the footpath. The Order will come into force on 1st September 2025 and will be effective until 31st October 2025 (however the footpath will be opened sooner if the works are completed sooner).
