What is happening?
THE COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF MIDDLESBROUGH (VALLEY ROAD, MIDDLESBROUGH) CONSTRUCTION OF ROAD HUMPS AND OTHER TRAFFIC CALMING WORKS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that The Council of the Borough of Middlesbrough (“The Council”) in exercise of its powers under Section 90A, 90C and 90G of the Highways Act 1980 and all other enabling powers proposes to add traffic calming measures on the road(s) and of a type as specified in the Schedule hereto. A copy of this Notice and a plan showing the lengths of road affected may be inspected at Newport Community Hub, St Pauls Road, Middlesbrough, TS1 5NQ, Monday to Thursday 9am to 5pm and at www.middlesbrough.gov.uk .
If you wish to object to the proposals you should send the grounds of your objection in writing to the undersigned no later than 21 days from the date of this Notice. If no objections are received the works will proceed without further notice.
SCHEDULE
Speed cushions - approximate dimensions 1.7m by 2.5m, maximum height 75mm: 140m and 48m north of the northern kerb line of Marton Grove Road and 13m, 94m and 166m south of the southern kerb line of Marton Grove Road. Build out - approximate dimensions 6m by 3.25m: 65m south of the southern kerb line of Park Road South.
