Halfyard Lane, Temporary Road Closure Due To Sewer Works
What is happening?
Somerset Council Parish of Fitzhead Temporary Closure of Halfyard Lane
Somerset Council in exercise of Its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Halfyard Lane - from 38 metres east of the junction with Cats Ash Road. A total distance of 69 metres. This Order will enable Below Ground Solutions Ltd to carry out sewer connection works.
The Order becomes effective on 28th August 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 1st September 2025 and last until 5th September 2025 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 5 days.
