Halse, Temporary Road Closure Due To Stop Tap Repairs

Parish of Halse Temporary Closure of Halsend
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Halsend - from 25 metres south-east of the junction with Church Hill, south-eastwards for a total distance of 87 metres. This Order will enable Wessex Water to carry out stop tap repairs.
The Order becomes effective on 28 August 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 1st September 2025 and last until 5th September 2025 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 5 days.
