(Amendment No. ***) Order 202*

T804 – Windsor Drive, Orpington

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and all other enabling powers.

The effect of the Orders would be to:

(a) convert existing ‘free’ parking bays to Pay by Phone parking bays as set out in the Schedule of this Notice;

(b) remove certain lengths of single yellow line to accommodate the Pay by Phone bays mentioned in paragraph (a) above.

Details of prohibitions and exemptions for certain vehicles and persons are contained in the original Orders.

Copies of the proposed Orders, of the plans of the scheme and of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at Bromley Civic Centre, 2 Westerham Road, Bromley, BR1 1AS, or by emailing TrafficManagementOrders@Bromley.gov.uk.

Any person wishing to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Director of Environment and Public Protection, Bromley Civic Centre, 2 Westerham Road, Bromley, BR1 1AS, or by email to TrafficManagementOrders@Bromley.gov.uk, quoting reference ADE(TP)/RP/T100/T804 not later than 3rd September 2025.

Persons objecting to the proposed Orders should be aware that under the provisions of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, their objection may be communicated to other people who may be affected.

SCHEDULE

Pay by Phone bays – Operating between 8.30am and 6.30pm Monday to Saturday inclusive:-

Windsor Drive, Orpington, BR6:

(a) the south-east (i) from a point 7m northeast of the northeastern kerbline of The Meadway north-eastward for a distance of 10m

(ii) from a point 25m northeast of the northeastern kerbline of The Meadway north-eastward for a distance of 11.5m

(iii) from a point 38.9m northeast of the northeastern kerbline of The Meadway north-eastward for a distance of 16.5m

(iv) from a point 1m southwest of the party wall of Nos. 49 & 51 Windsor Drive north-eastward for a distance of 10m

(v) from a point 2.1m southwest of the party wall of Nos. 41 & 43 Windsor Drive north-eastward for a distance of 16.5m

(vi) from a point 1m northeast of the party wall of Nos. 35 & 37 Windsor Drive north-eastward for a distance of 19m

(vii) from a point 2m northeast of the party wall of Nos. 21 & 23 Windsor Drive south-westward for a distance of 16.5m

(viii) from a point 2m northeast of the party wall of Nos. 21 & 23 Windsor Drive north-eastward for a distance of 17.5m

(ix) from a point 1.5m southwest of the northeastern wall of No. 11 Windsor Drive south-westward for a distance of 9.5m.
