TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025
Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council propose to make an order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 not less than seven days from the date hereof the Highway Authority being satisfied that the speed along the said section of road specified in Schedule 1 hereto shall be reduced because works are being or are proposed to be carried out on or near the road.
The effect of the Order, which will come into effect on 24th August 2025, will be to temporarily will be to temporarily restrict the speed of road specified in the Schedule below at such times as traffic management signs may be erected to notify highway users of the restriction. It is expected that works will be carried out between approximately 24th August 2025 and 24th August 2026.The Order may continue in force for a maximum period of eighteen months.
The Schedule
Temporary 30mph Speed Limit - A1032 Newport Approach Road - From a point approximately 365 metres north west of its junction with Newport Roundabout in a north westerly direction for a distance of approximately 200 metres.
