Mae Cyngor Sir Ddinbych wedi gwneud Gorchymyn, sy’n gwahardd unrhyw gerbyd rhag teithio ar hyd y darn hwnnw o Gronant Road, Prestatyn yn Sir Ddinbych, sy’n ymestyn i gyfeiriad d’wyraon o bwynt 30 metr i’r dwyrain o’i chyffordd â Ffordd Onnen am bellter o oddeutu 200 metr.

Mae’n rhaid cau’r ffordd er mwyn gwneud gwaith lledaenu, adeileddu troedffordd, a gwaith mecanyddol sy’n gysylltiedig â datblygu t’edi newydd gan Gyngor Sir Ddinbych. Ni fydd rheolau cyffredin llwybrau yn ystod y cyfnod cau.

Bydd arwyddion yn dangos y ffordd amgen ar Nant Y Glyn, Ffordd Prestatyn, Mostyn Road, Gronant Hill a Llananasa Road.

Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar 18 Awst 2025 am gyfnod o ddeunaw mis ond fe’i diddymir cyn hynny os cyflawnir y gwaith yn gynn. Disgwylir i’r gwaith barhau tan tua 27 Hydref 2025.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER

DENBIGHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

GRONANT ROAD, PRESTATYN

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)

Denbighshire County Council has made an Order prohibiting vehicles using that length of Gronant Road in Prestatyn in the County of Denbigh which extends eastward from a point 30 metres east of its junction with Ffordd Onnen for a distance of approximately 200 metres.

The closure is necessary to facilitate road widening, footway construction, and drainage works associated with a new housing development by Denbighshire County Council. Pedestrian routes will not be maintained for the duration of the closure.

The signposted alternative route will be via Nant Drive, Prestatyn Road, Mostyn Road, Gronant Hill and Llananasa Road.

The Order is expected to be in force for a period of 18 weeks from the earlier of the date it is brought into effect or the date it is revoked, whichever is the sooner. It is anticipated the closure will last approximately until 27th October 2025.
