TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s):
ORDER NO. MCC144566621: The City of Manchester (Trinity Way, Deansgate Ward)(Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2025 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to restrict traffic on Trinity Way between Regent Road and Hampson Street. The alternative routes for traffic will be: Regent Road, Oldfield Road, Chapel Street, Trinity Way & Dawson Street, Chester Road Roundabout, Bridgewater Viaduct, Deansgate, Liverpool Road, Lower Byrom Street, New Quay Street. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate road lining works for the adjacent development. It is expected that the works will be in progress from 22:00hrs on 1st September 2025 and 04:00hrs on 2nd September 2025. The order shall come into operation on 1st September 2025 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period. Kevin Gillham.
