Mae Cyngor Sir Ddinbych yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn dim cynt na 7 diwrnod o 13 Awst 2025, sydd yn gwahardd unrhyw gerbyd rhag teithio ar hyd y darn hwnnw o Crud y Castell, Dinbych, yn Sir Ddinbych yn ymestyn tua’r gorllewin o bwynt 340 metr i’r de-orllewin o’i chyffordd gyda Ffordd Rhuthun am bellter o oddeutu 30 metr.

Mae angen cau’r ffordd er mwyn caniatáu i Quartzelec Ltd ymgymryd â gwaith trydanol ar ran Scottish Power. Bydd y ffordd yn agored i gerddwyr gydol y cyfnod cau.

Nid oes llwybr arall ar gael.

Bydd y Gorchymyn mewn grym o 1 Medi 2025 am gyfnod o ddeunaw mis neu nes y bydd y gwaith wedi ei gwblhau, pa un bynnag sydd gyntaf. Disgwylir i’r gwaith barhau tan tua 5 Medi 2025.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER

DENBIGHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

CRUD Y CASTELL, DENBIGH

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

Denbighshire County Council intends not sooner than 7 days from 13th August 2025 to make an Order prohibiting vehicles using Crud y Castell Denbigh in the County of Denbigh extending westwards from a point 340 metres south west of its junction with Ruthin Road for a distance of approximately 30 metres.

The closure is necessary to facilitate electrical works by Quartzelec Ltd on behalf of Scottish Power. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure.

There is no alternative route available.

The Order is effective from 1st September 2025 for an eighteen-month period or the earlier completion of the works whichever is soonest. The works are expected to last approximately until 5th September 2025.
