What is happening?
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(STOCKWELL ROAD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Stockwell Road in both directions outside property 15, at its junction with Church Hill Road.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken on 27 August 2025, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:00.
The diversion route is: Malthouse Lane, Lower Street, The Rock and vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate the replacement of a telecoms pole by BT Openreach.
