What is happening?

THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL

(ROOKERY STREET)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding along Rookery Street closed its entire length in both directions.

The Notice may operate for a maximum period 5 days and it is anticipated that the road closure will be in place between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only from
the 26th August 2025 until the 29th August 2025.

The vehicular diversion route is: Alfred Squire Road, Neachells Lane, Wednesfield Way, New Cross Avenue, Wolverhampton Road & vice versa.

The Notice is required to facilitate Carriageway resurfacing works.
