What is happening?
Borough of Telford and Wrekin The Council proposes to make the Borough of Telford & Wrekin New Street, Newport (Temporary 20mph Speed Limit) Order 2025 and under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the order will be to introduce a temporary 20mph speed limit to maintain safety for road users. The order becomes operational from the 26/8/25. The following road is affected: New Street, Newport from its jcn with Beaumaris
Rd for approx. 100m in a north easterly direction. The maximum duration is 18 months.
