TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT ORDER
THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BARKING AND DAGENHAM
(ARDEN CRESCENT, DAGENHAM) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE OF MAKING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in order to facilitate pole replacement works, the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham has made a Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The order is expected to come in to effect on Wednesday 27 August 2025. The works expected for:
• The pole replacement works to take 1 day to complete. Completion date estimated as Wednesday 27 August 2025 with the work expected to be undertaken between the hours of 9.30am to 3.30pm.
However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be re–introduced should further works be required.
When the works are taking place and the appropriate traffic signs are being displayed the Order will temporarily: -
• Prohibit all vehicular traffic on Arden Crescent, both sides, from the common boundary of Nos. 66 and 68 Arden Crescent for a distance of 45 metres in a south–westerly direction.
• Prohibit all pedestrians on Arden Crescent, south–east side footpath, from a point 3.5 metres south–west of the common boundary of Nos. 66 and 68 Arden Crescent for a distance of 38 metres in a south–westerly direction.
• Suspend part of the Resident Permit Holders Only Zone BEC Mon–Fri 8.30am–5.30pm bays on Arden Crescent, north–west side, outside Nos. 68 to 86 Arden Crescent.
Alternative routes for pedestrians will be maintained and signed:
• Via Arden Crescent north–west side footpath.
Alternative routes for Vehicular traffic will be maintained and signed:
• Via Arden Crescent, Gale Street, Langley Crescent, Amesbury Road, Arden Crescent and Vice versa.
