A329 Millenium Way, Bracknell - Temporary Road Closure due to Maintenance Works

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that Bracknell Forest Borough Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, in accordance with Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from travelling along:

a) A329 Millenium Way, Bracknell in both directions between the junctions of Met Office Roundabout and Western Roundabout.

The alternative route for vehicles affected by this Order will be via: A3095 Church Road, A3095 Bagshot Road, A322 Downshire Way, A329 Skimped Hill Lane, A329 Millenium Way and this route reversed.

The purpose of this Order is to ensure public & worker safety while Cityfibre carry out maintenance works to a carriageway chamber.

The proposed Order will come into operation on the 30th September 2025, and its maximum duration will be 6 months. However, it is currently planned that the road closure will be in place from 20:00 on the 30th September 2025 – 06:00 on the 01st October 2025.

This Order shall only apply when the appropriate signs and markings are displayed in the road.
