Western Road, Bracknell - Temporary Prohibition of Driving due to Lamp Column Replacement

ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that Bracknell Forest Borough Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, in accordance with Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from turning right onto:
a) Western Road, Bracknell from the junction of Downshire Way, Bracknell.
The alternative route for vehicles affected by this Order will be via: Downshire Way, Twin Bridges Roundabout, Berkshire Way Roundabout, Easthampstead Road.
The purpose of this Order is to ensure public & worker safety while Bracknell Forest Council carry out works to replace a damaged lamp column.
The proposed Order will come into operation on the 09th September 2025, and its maximum duration will be 6 months. However, it is currently planned that the road closure will be in place between 09:30–15:30 on the 09th September 2025.
This Order shall only apply when the appropriate signs and markings are displayed in the road.
