M25 MOTORWAY (JUNCTION 2) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS
Notice is hereby given that National Highways Limited has made an Order on the M25 Motorway in the County of Kent, under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 because works are proposed to be executed on the road.
The effect of the Order is to authorise the extended Saturday night closure of the anti-clockwise carriageway of the M25 between the exit and entry slips at Junction 2 (A2).
This measure is in the interests of road safety while contractors undertake bridge works, resurfacing, structure maintenance and inspections, and all associated works.
It is expected that the work will last for approximately 9 weeks starting on or after Saturday 16th August 2025. The closures will take place between 21:00 and 09:00 hours (maximum period).
The Order will come into force on 15th August 2025 and have a maximum duration of eighteen months.
Traffic affected by the closures will be directed to leave the carriageway and rejoin after the junction.
The temporary closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs when they are in operation during the works period.
