Abbey Close, Bracknell - Temporary Road Closure due to Maintenance Works

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING)

ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that Bracknell Forest Borough Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, in accordance with Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from travelling along:

a) Abbey Close, Bracknell, from outside No.12 to No.20.

The purpose of this Order is to ensure public & worker safety while BT complete maintenance works in the carriageway.

There is no alternative route required for vehicles.

The proposed Order will come into operation on the 06th October 2025, and its maximum duration will be 6 months. However, it is currently planned that the road closure will be in place between 06th October 2025 – 08th October 2025.

This Order shall only apply when the appropriate signs and markings are displayed in the road.
