What is happening?

BRACKNELL FOREST BOROUGH COUNCIL

(LOVEL LANE, WINKFIELD)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that Bracknell Forest Borough Council has made an Order, in accordance with Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along:

a) Lovel Lane, Winkfield in both directions between the junctions of A332 Windsor Road and Woodside Road.

The alternative route for vehicles affected by this Order will be via: A332 Windsor Road, B383 Mounts Hill, Hatchet Lane, Lovel Lane and this route reversed.

The purpose of this Order is to ensure public & worker safety while Cadent Gas complete a major gas mains replacement with the carriageway.

The Order came into operation on the 18th August 2025 and has a maximum duration of 6 months. However, It is currently planned that the closure will be in place between 11th August 2025 - 29th August 2025.

This Order shall only apply when the appropriate signs and markings are displayed in the road.
