No access for emergency services, must follow diversion route.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration:

(A38 Birmingham Road, Bromsgrove)
(Prohibition of Right Turn) Order 2025
Order made: To impose a Prohibition of Right Turn order that part of A38 Birmingham Rd into C2159 School Ln for the duration of the Order.
Reason: To facilitate construction work associated with the A38 BREP Scheme by WCC.
There will be no access for buses turning right into School Lane from A38 Birmingham Road, the diversion route must be maintained.
Alternative route: A38 Birmingham Rd (Northbound), A38 Lickey End/M42 Roundabout, B4096 Alcester Rd and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration:

Reason: Due to overnight traffic lining for the implementation of the No Right Turn restriction on School Lane on the A38 by WCC.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)
(Various Roads, Shernal Green)
(30 mph Speed Limit) Order 2025
On 31 July 2025 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the speed limit on the following lengths of road in Shernal Green to 30 miles per hour:
C2156 Hay Lane/Captains Lane: From a point 85 metres west of its junction with U4115 Middle Lane for 600 metres in an easterly direction.
U4115 Middle Lane: From its junction with C2156 Hay Lane/Captains Lane for 15 metres in a northerly direction.
U42214 Cottage Lane: for its entire length.
There are exemptions in the Order for Special Forces Vehicles.
The Order will come into operation on 21 August 2025.

Order made: To close that part of (a) Footway link connecting A38 Bromsgrove Eastern Bypass to its junction with U21065 Warwick Avenue; (b) Footway alongside A38 Bromsgrove Eastern Bypass (Southbound) from junction of said footway link to its junction with C2164 Stoke Road.
Reason: Due to construction work on A38 Bromsgrove Eastern Bypass (BREP Scheme) by WCC.
EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.
