TEMPORARY CLOSURE 401280 ROAD FROM HIGHFIELD WAY TO KEBLE ROAD CHARLTON PARISH STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 401280 Road from Highfield Way to Keble Road outside of the property known as “Horseshoe House” to outside of the property known as “Daisy Court” for a distance of approximately 100 metres.

The reason for the closure is for works to lay new gas service.

The reason for the said closure is for works by Severn Trent Water.

The reason for the said closures is for highway works on behalf of Ringway.

These roads are expected to be closed and restricted, during various times, on a rolling programme commencing 1st September 2025 where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the said closures are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the closures.

It is anticipated that all works will be completed by 31st March 2026.
