Chalkcroft Lane, Temporary Road Closure Due To New Connection Works
What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE - CHALKCROFT LANE, PENTON MEWSEY, TEST VALLEY
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Chalkcroft Lane between its junction with Trinity Rise and continuing to a point 532 metres North on Chalkcroft Lane.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Tuesday 12th August 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day and working between the hours 07:00-17:00).
The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for OCU Group to complete new connection and network reinforcement works. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: SSENCustomer@ocugroup.com.
