Swan Lane, Temporary Road Closure Due To Gas Works
What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE - SWAN LANE, WINCHESTER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Swan Lane between its junction with Whitmore Vale and its junction with B3420.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Swan Lane, Andover Road, Worthy Lane, Hyde Street.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Wednesday 13th August 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 2 days and in operation 24 hours a day).
