Aldershot - Temporary Road Closures due to Gas Main Replacement Works

What is happening?

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE –

B3007 PRINCES WAY & HOSPITAL HILL, ALDERSHOT, RUSHMOOR

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

ROAD TO BE CLOSED:

1. B3007 Princes Way between its junction with A323 Wellington Avenue and its junction with High Street.

2. Hospital Hill between its junction with Willems Avenue and its junction with A323 Wellington Avenue.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE:

1. Wellington Avenue, Oberursel Way, Barrack Road, High Street

2. Queens Avenue, Alisons Road, Thornhill Road, Ordinance Road, Wellington Avenue

DURATION OF ORDER: from 11th August 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 43 days and in operation for 24 hours a day).

The Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for I&G Contractors Ltd to carry out gas main replacement works. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: customer@sgn.co.uk

I&G Contractors Ltd will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
