What is happening?

THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL

(COTTAGE LANE AND PRIMROSE AVENUE)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)

ORDER 2025


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the
Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on the following stretches of road:

· Cottage Lane closed from south of property 72 to its junction with Primrose Avenue.

· Primrose Avenue closed from its junction with Cottage Lane to the rear of Primrose Avenue Flats 119-129. Vehicular Diversion Route: Primrose Avenue, Bee Lane and vice versa.

The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 daily,
from 25 August 2025 until 29 August 2025.

The Order is required to facilitate maintenance and repair works by Network Rail.
