Temporary Orders The Cornwall Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) The County of Cornwall (Road From Trispen Hill To A39 South West Of St Erme, St Erme) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025 

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 11th August 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in St Erme. This prohibition is necessary for cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 29th August 2025 for one day. 

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1600, weekdays only. Road affected - Road From Trispen Hill To A39 South West Of St Erme, St Erme between the properties named Ebrenn Cottage and Fernlea.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 11th August 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Truro. This prohibition is necessary for tree works and it is expected that the closure will be from 26th August 2025 to 27th August 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only. Roads affected - Road From Lower Hugus Road To Kilters, Hugus, Truro between the junctions of Lane To Lower Besore and Lower Hugus Road and Lower Hugus Road, Threemilestone between grid reference SW77726 44449 and the junction of Hugus Meadows. Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 11th August 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Threemilestone. This prohibition is necessary for sewer works and it is expected that the closure will be from 25th August 2025 to 30th August 2025. 

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. Road affected - Road From The A390 Roundabout At Threemilestone To Penventinnie Lane, Threemilestone between grid references SW78503 45744 and SW78600 45848. The Cornwall Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) The County of Cornwall (Mongleath Road, Falmouth) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025 

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Falmouth. This prohibition is necessary for repairs to frame and cover and it is expected that the closure will be from 8th September 2025 to 10th September 2025. 

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1830 and 0700, weekdays only. Road affected - Mongleath Road, Falmouth between the junctions of Longfield and Mongleath Avenue. Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Goonhavern.
 
This prohibition is necessary for surfacing works and it is expected that the closure will be from 8th September 2025 to 11th September 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0700, weekdays only. 

Road affected - Halt Road, Goonhavern for its entire length. An alternative route will be signed on site. The Cornwall Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) The County of Cornwall (Theydon Road, Margaret Place, Marlborough Grove, Falmouth) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025 

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Falmouth. 

This prohibition is necessary for gas mains replacement works and it is expected that the closure will be from 8th September 2025 to 13th October 2025. 

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. Roads affected - Theydon Road between the junctions of Penmere Hill and Margaret Place, Margaret Place between the junctions of Theydon Road and Marlborough Grove and Marlborough Grove for its entire length, Falmouth.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Falmouth. This prohibition is necessary for vegetation works and it is expected that the closure will be from 9th September 2025 to 12th September 2025. 

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0700, weekdays only.

The Cornwall Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) The County of Cornwall (Road From Arch Hill To Junction South Of Bridge House, Old Falmouth Road, Playing Place) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025 

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Calenick. 

This prohibition is necessary for cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 10th September 2025 for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only. 

Road affected - Road From Arch Hill To Junction South Of Bridge House, Calenick and Road From Old Falmouth Road To Junction At Ropewalk, Calenick for their entire lengths and Old Falmouth Road, Truro between the property named Bridge House and grid reference SW82093 43111. Cornwall Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025 

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council is under the above Order dated 28th July 2025 continuing to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Penhellaz Hill and Cross Street, Helston for their entire lengths. The Order which commenced on the 29th July 2025 and is currently in force for up to eighteen months will now continue until the 5th September 2025. 

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. 

The Council is satisfied that this further restriction is necessary owing to engineering difficulties and the Order is needed because works are being executed on or near the road to carry out HV fault repair works. 

Nothing in this Order will apply to emergency services, cyclists, traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer.
